*Job Overview*
We are seeking an experienced Lead Epoxy Flooring Installer specializing in polyaspartic, metallic, and other advanced flooring systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in flooring installation, construction, and restoration industries. This leadership role involves overseeing installation projects, ensuring quality standards, and guiding a team of installers on-site. The position requires a detail-oriented professional with excellent technical skills and the ability to interpret schematics and blueprints. Candidates with construction estimating, blueprint reading, and hands-on experience with power tools and hand tools will excel in this role. A comprehensive understanding of flooring materials, surface preparation, and finishing techniques is essential to deliver durable, high-quality epoxy floors.

*Responsibilities*

* Lead and supervise epoxy flooring installation projects from start to finish, including surface preparation, mixing, application, and finishing of polyaspartic, metallic, and other specialty coatings
* Coordinate with clients, project managers, and team members to ensure timely project completion within specifications
* Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings to plan installation procedures
* Utilize hand tools, power tools, caulking guns, buffing equipment, and other necessary tools to perform precise installations
* Oversee surface preparation tasks such as concrete finishing, water damage restoration prep, and floor care to ensure optimal adhesion
* Manage material inventory and estimate project needs accurately using construction estimating skills
* Ensure safety protocols are followed on-site to maintain a secure work environment
* Train and mentor junior installers in proper techniques for flooring installation and restoration work
* Perform quality control inspections to verify the durability and aesthetic standards of finished floors
* Assist in remodeling projects involving tile laying, fixture installation, trim carpentry, cabinetry work, or painting as needed

*Experience*

* Proven experience in flooring installation with a focus on epoxy systems such as polyaspartic or metallic coatings
* Strong background in construction including tile laying, concrete finishing, carpentry (including trim carpentry), remodeling, or restoration industry experience
* Familiarity with blueprint reading and schematics for complex projects
* Hands-on experience with hand tools and power tools used in construction sites including buffing equipment and caulking guns
* Knowledge of water damage restoration processes and floor care techniques is a plus
* Previous leadership roles as a lead installer or supervisor within the construction or restoration industries are highly desirable
* Ability to estimate project timelines and materials accurately using construction estimating skills

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $30.00 – $40.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35 per week
