Starting Pay: $24 to $32 per hour
Work Schedule: Tuesday to Saturday, 6am to 2:30pm
Position Summary Description:
Performs a wide variety of concrete-related functions to include but not limited to concrete floor repairs, preparing concrete, and applying finishing coat using tools such as floor grinders, hepa vacuum, and concrete cutting tools maintain smooth facility floors.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
• Uses a variety of hand and power tools to carry out maintenance duties to include concrete cutting, digging, repairing cracks, grinding, smoothing, and epoxy filling.
• Prepares surface for installation, including cleaning, leveling, and performing moisture tests.
• Install epoxy flooring materials with precision and attention to detail, ensuring a flawless finish.
• Troubleshoot and resolve any issues or challenges that arise during the coating process.
• Maintains tools and equipment for the purpose of ensuring the availability of equipment in safe operating condition.
• Uses the Company’s Mission/Vision Statements and Core Values as their guiding principles.
Other Duties and Responsibilities:
• Responds to emergency repair situations to ensure immediate safety of property/individuals and compliance with safety regulations.
• Ensures flawless finish on floors to secure a safe environment.
Qualifications:

Two to three years of concrete knowledge and or experience working with concrete, floor grinder, and epoxy application.
Physical Demands:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to lift and carry objects weighing up to 50 lbs. Employee must be able to stand, walk, bend, crouch, climb and sit intermittently up to 10 hours per day. Specific vision abilities required by this position include close vision, color vision, peripheral vision and depth perception.
Working Environment:
The working environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is exposed to concrete dust. The employee is occasionally exposed to moving mechanical parts, such as those found on a forklift, pallet jack, or other warehouse equipment. The employee is occasionally exposed to high, precarious places, and exhaust fumes from delivery vehicles. The noise level in the work environment is moderate to loud and illumination is moderate to good. Exposure to outside weather conditions is occasional.
