*About This Role*

Durable Surfaces is seeking a skilled and motivated *Tradesman 1 – Concrete Repair *to join our *100% Travel Team*. This is a *travel-only position* that requires full-time travel to job sites across the United States. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of concrete finishing techniques, demonstrate professionalism on every site, and represent Durable Surfaces with integrity and teamwork.

This role involves working on various concrete repair and restoration projects, ensuring that all finishes meet company quality and safety standards.

*Key Responsibilities*

* Assist with surface preparation, including grinding, cleaning, and leveling concrete surfaces.
* Perform basic concrete repair work such as patching cracks, filling voids, and resurfacing damaged areas.
* Use hand and power tools, including grinders, polishers, and trowels, to achieve desired finishes.
* Apply coatings, sealants, densifiers, and other protective treatments to enhance durability.
* Support experienced craftsmen in polishing and finishing techniques to meet project specifications.
* Maintain a clean and organized work area and ensure tools and equipment are properly stored.
* Follow all company safety protocols and OSHA regulations to ensure a safe work environment.
* Assist with job site setup and breakdown, including moving materials and preparing equipment.
* Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to ensure project efficiency.
* Represent Durable Surfaces with professionalism and strong collaboration skills while traveling.

*Qualifications*

* High school diploma or equivalent.
* Previous experience as a concrete finisher or in related construction work preferred.
* Familiarity with various concrete finishing techniques, materials, and tools.
* Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality results.
* Ability to work as part of a team and maintain professionalism while traveling.
* Physical stamina to handle materials and perform tasks in various environments and weather conditions.
* Employment in this position requires obtaining a Yellow Badge for site access. Selected candidates will be required to complete and successfully pass a background check as a condition of employment. The Yellow Badge will be used for access at all site locations.

*Working Conditions*

* *This is a 100% travel position.* Employees are required to travel to job sites nationwide for extended periods.
* Nights, overnights, and weekends are required.
* Must be able to lift heavy materials and stand for extended periods.
* Safety equipment must be worn at all times.
