JOB PROFILE
Required to apply various finishes to buildings, rooms, or other structures as assigned by the Maintenance Manager.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following.
Removes old paint coating, if necessary.
Performs building exterior and interior caulking, finish repair, mud and tape, and texturing tasks.
Mixes colors or oils to obtain desired color or consistency.
Applies paints, sealers, and solvents to exterior and interior building surfaces such as plaster, sheetrock, concrete, and wood.
Operates equipment such as airless spray equipment, scaffolding, and motorized lifts.
Assures safety standards are used which comply with all company, local, City, State and Federal guidelines.
Ensures compliance of all work-related activities in a fair, ethical, and consistent manner.
Requires being at work on time and having satisfactory attendance.
Performs other maintenance duties as needed.
Any other duties assigned by management.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
High school diploma or equivalent. Three to five years of Painter’s experience required.
Salary: $20.00 – $25.00 per hour
