*Position Overview*

The Corporate Trainer is a hands-on coach and technical leader responsible for ensuring that every Spartan franchise delivers consistent, high-quality work aligned with our brand standards. This role goes beyond instruction — it’s about being in the field, shoulder-to-shoulder with franchisees and installers, building their skillset, confidence, and operational excellence.

This position involves frequent and flexible travel to franchise markets across the U.S. to support:

* New franchise launches and onboarding programs
* Field training for new and existing teams
* Additional in-market coaching for underperforming or growing locations

The ideal candidate thrives on teaching by example, adapting to different environments, and reinforcing Spartan’s commitment to excellence through hands-on leadership.

*Key Responsibilities*

* Deliver in-person, hands-on training to franchisees and installation teams on all Spartan coating systems, including garage flake, quartz, and stone systems. *This involves *hands *on teaching and completion of various floor installation processes*.
* Lead on-site coaching during new franchise training, openings and ongoing support visits, ensuring consistent quality and operational execution.
* Conduct refresher or advanced training sessions in markets that require additional coaching or performance support.
* Reinforce installation techniques, safety standards, and Spartan’s warranty expectations.
* Train and evaluate crews on surface preparation, moisture testing, product mixing/application, and finish quality.
* Collaborate with Spartan University and the Franchise Success Team to refine training, standardize techniques, and identify areas for improvement.
* Maintain training documentation, progress reports, and performance feedback for each training session.
* Represent the Spartan brand with professionalism, adaptability, and integrity at all times.

*Qualifications*

* 5+ years of hands-on experience in epoxy or decorative concrete coatings (installation or leadership role).
* Proven ability to train, coach, and lead teams — ideally within a franchise or multi-location environment.
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a natural ability to motivate and influence others.
* Must be comfortable with 50%+ travel.
* Highly organized, self-motivated, and adaptable to changing schedules and travel demands.
* Valid driver’s license and ability to travel nationwide.
