Team Lead Epoxy Installer

*Job Overview*

Connor Painting is seeking an experienced *Flooring Team Lead* to join our growing commercial and industrial team. This role is ideal for a hands-on leader with strong flooring installation experience—especially resinous floor systems—who takes pride in quality work, safety, and leading others by example. The Flooring Team Lead works alongside their crew while overseeing daily jobsite operations to ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to Connor Painting’s standards.

*Responsibilities*

* Lead and work alongside a crew installing resinous floor coatings, including epoxy systems
* Oversee surface preparation, including cleaning, repairing, and leveling substrates
* Measure, mix, and apply flooring materials using proper tools and techniques
* Ensure all work is performed in compliance with safety procedures, OSHA requirements, and company policies
* Serve as the primary point of contact on the jobsite for crew coordination and communication
* Assign tasks, monitor productivity, and support crew members with training and guidance
* Communicate effectively with project managers and team members to meet schedules and quality expectations
* Identify and address jobsite issues proactively, including material needs and workflow challenges

*Requirements*

* Proven experience as a Flooring Installer; leadership or crew lead experience strongly preferred
* Experience with resinous flooring systems or strong willingness to continue developing expertise
* Bilingual English + Spanish (strongly preferred)
* Strong knowledge of flooring materials, installation methods, and jobsite best practices
* Ability to lead by example and work independently while managing a team
* High attention to detail and commitment to quality craftsmanship
* Strong communication skills with crew members, supervisors, and clients
* Reliable, safety-focused, and accountable

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $22.00 – $27.00 per hour
