Sandblaster/Painter

Elite Business Resources is looking for a dependable outgoing industrial sandblaster/painter. They are responsible for sandblasting and spray-painting equipment and structural steel material.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

* Prepare and test spray painting equipment prior to use to ensure all equipment is in working order
* Apply surface material when required to fill imperfections
* Read drawings
* Select and use various hand tools, abrasive papers and grinders to prepare surfaces for painting
* Understand and able to recognize surfaces for painting readiness
* Prepare and mix coating materials according to manufacturer’s specifications
* Apply coating to various surfaces
* Measure coating thickness
* Perform clean up activities according to plant policies

Job Requirements:

* Minimum 1 year experience
* Clear and concise communication
* Able to perform work while on a lift
* Able to work 10-12 hour days
* Have reliable transportation
