Powder Paint Group Leader

Mazak Corporation is looking for a Group Leader to join the Fabrication team. The Powder Paint Group Leader schedules work assignments for the powder coat painting area and maintains powder coat wash and powder systems.

Scope and Responsibilities:
• Proactively attains a safe and healthy work environment for all employees.
• Responsible for setup and maintaining the Powder coat system.
• Perform color changes to the paint line.
• Follow the production schedule.
• Set up schedules for the team operating the paint line.
• Track and notify supervisor of consumables/PPE needs and paint requirements

Education/Certification:
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Technical school or Vocational school Diploma preferred

Skills:
• Industrial Powder painting experience.
• Knowledge of proper preparation of unpainted materials.
• Knowledge of Powder painting processes
• Ability to understand scheduling.
• Experience in monitoring chemical ratios for the wash tanks.
• Maintaining the Paint system
• Safety Oriented.
• Ability to work with others as a team.
• Team Lead experience is a plus but not required.
• Ability to Lift 30 to 40 lbs.
