Powder Coat Painter

Mazak Corporation is looking for a painter to join the Fabrication team. The Powder Painter will hang, coat, and store metal parts on an automated powder coat paint line.

Scope and Responsibilities:
Essential duties include, but are not limited to the following:
• Proactively attains a safe and healthy work environment for all employees
• Hang metal parts on the automated conveyor line
• Coat the light areas on the parts that the automatic guns miss
• Remove and store coated parts on designated carts for delivery to assembly department
• Participate in cleaning system between color changes with other associates
• Hours in department are 5 am.- 3:30 pm. Monday through Friday
• Some Saturday overtime is possible each month based on schedule needs

Education/Certification:
• High school diploma or equivalent required

Skills:
• Attention to detail
• Ability to lift parts up to 30-40 pounds onto hooks on conveyor line
