*Overview*
We are seeking a skilled Industrial Blaster/Painter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in various painting techniques and a strong understanding of industrial painting processes. This role involves preparing surfaces, applying paint, and ensuring high-quality finishes on a range of products. The Industrial Painter will work closely with other team members to meet production goals while maintaining safety and quality standards.

*Duties*

* Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and masking as necessary.
* Apply paint using spray guns, brushes, or rollers to achieve desired finishes.
* Mix paints and coatings according to specifications and ensure proper application techniques are used.
* Inspect finished products for quality assurance, making adjustments as needed.
* Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition, performing basic maintenance as required.
* Collaborate with team members to assemble components and fabricate parts when necessary.
* Utilize hand tools and forklifts safely for materials handling throughout the painting process.
* Follow lean manufacturing principles to optimize workflow and reduce waste.

*Requirements*

* Proven experience in industrial painting is preferred.
* Familiarity with hand tools and basic math skills for mixing paints and measuring surfaces.
* Knowledge of welding and fabrication techniques is a plus.
* Ability to operate forklifts safely; certification is preferred but not required.
* Strong attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work.
* Ability to work effectively in a team environment while also being self-motivated.
* Understanding of safety protocols in an industrial setting is essential.
