Painter (Background Check Required)

Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and skilled Painter to join our dynamic construction and renovation team. In this role, you will be responsible for applying paint, coatings, and finishes to a variety of surfaces across residential projects. Your expertise will help transform spaces, enhance aesthetics, and ensure quality craftsmanship.

Duties:
– Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, plastering, caulking, and priming to ensure optimal paint adhesion and finish quality
– Apply paints, stains, varnishes, and specialty coatings using brushes, rollers, spray equipment, and other hand or power tools
– Read blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings to accurately determine project scope
– Perform detailed trim carpentry, framing, stucco application, masonry work, and fixture installation
– Conduct restoration work on older structures by matching colors and performing surface repairs
– Operate construction tools including hand tools, power tools, welding equipment when necessary
– Assist with renovation projects by performing demolition, framing, drywall installation, concrete finishing
– Ensure safety standards are maintained at all times

Experience:
– Proven experience in residential painting with solid understanding of color theory and finishing techniques
– Knowledge of construction site safety protocols
– Skilled in using hand tools, power tools including airless sprayers, scaffolding setup

Pay: From $20.00 per hour
