Asphalt Seal Coating Specialist

Pay: $20-$25/hr

Seasonal position: April – December
Hours: Mon – Fri 6am – 4pm, some Saturdays

Duties:
– Prepare asphalt surfaces by cleaning debris, blowing dust, and removing oil spots
– Fill cracks and repair minor surface damage before sealcoating
– Mix and load sealcoat materials according to manufacturer specifications
– Apply sealcoat using spray systems, squeegees, or brushes
– Ensure even, smooth coverage and proper thickness
– Block off work areas with cones and safety signs
– Maintain tools, hoses, tanks, and equipment
– Follow safety procedures and wear required PPE

Requirements:
– High school diploma or GED (preferred)
– Experience in asphalt, paving, or construction (preferred)
– Ability to operate sealcoating equipment and hand tools
– Knowledge of basic asphalt repair techniques
– Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work outdoors in varying weather conditions
– Strong attention to detail
– Valid driver’s license
