Carpenter / Laborer

*Overview*
We are seeking a skilled and dependable Carpenter / Laborer to join our construction team. This role involves performing a variety of carpentry and labor tasks on commercial and residential projects, ensuring high-quality craftsmanship and adherence to safety standards. The ideal candidate will have experience in construction, framing, trim carpentry, and the use of hand and power tools. This position offers opportunities for growth across multiple facets of construction and restoration industries, including remodeling, roofing, siding, and more.

*Responsibilities*

* Assist with framing, drywall installation, and finish carpentry including trim, cabinetry, and fixture installation
* Operate hand tools, power tools, and CNC equipment safely and efficiently
* Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings to execute project plans accurately
* Perform concrete forming, rebar installation, masonry work, and water damage restoration tasks as needed
* Install siding, stucco, roofing components, doors, windows, and flooring materials
* Conduct demolition work and prepare sites for new construction or renovation projects
* Assist with metal stud framing, drywall finishing, plastering, caulking, and painting preparation
* Fabricate custom components in the shop or on-site as required for specific projects
* Heavy lifting of materials and equipment to support project timelines
* Maintain a clean work environment while adhering to safety protocols at all times

*Requirements*

* Proven experience in construction site environments with knowledge of various trades such as framing, roofing, masonry, plumbing, electrical work, and restoration industry standards
* Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, schematics reading, blueprint interpretation, and fabrication techniques
* Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and work at heights or in confined spaces as needed
* Strong understanding of safety procedures related to construction sites
* Experience with remodeling projects including cabinet installation, door hanging, flooring installation, tile laying, and drywall finishing is preferred
* Knowledge of water damage restoration or mold remediation is a plus
* Valid driver’s license preferred for site travel; reliable transportation required
* Ability to follow detailed instructions while working independently or as part of a team
* Physical ability to stand for extended periods and perform physically demanding tasks throughout the workday

Job Types: Full-time, Temporary

Pay: $15.00 – $20.00 per hour
