*Job Summary*
Our client, a leading specialty commercial flooring contractor, is seeking a *Working Foreman* to support floor installations across a variety of project sites. This role is ideal for hands-on installers ready to take ownership of job site execution, crew coordination, and quality control.
*Duties*
* Lead and manage a small crew.
* Coordinate day-to-day onsite activities with customers and/or general contractors.
* Manage installation schedule, workmanship quality, and production flow.
* Ensure installations meet required specifications, standards, and safety protocols.
* Serve as the primary onsite point of accountability for the project.
* Prepare floor surfaces prior to installation using shot-blast equipment, hand scraping tools, grinders, sanders, and vacuums.
* Protect work areas with tape, paper, or plastic; install termination strips as required.
* Mobilize materials and equipment to job sites using pallet jacks and proper lifting techniques.
* Mix multi-component flooring systems, including liquid resins, liquid hardeners, and aggregates.
* Apply liquid flooring materials using rollers, hand trowels, and specialty tools.
* Perform occasional wall applications using similar materials applied vertically.
* Maintain daily job site cleanliness, including disposal of waste and securing tools and materials.
* Comply with all safety requirements, including use of PPE such as gloves, safety glasses, hearing protection, respirators, and face shields when required.
*Experience*
* Prior experience in epoxy, resinous, or specialty flooring installation
* Experience leading crews or acting as a working foreman preferred
* Strong understanding of surface preparation methods and flooring application techniques
* Reliable, safety-conscious, and comfortable working in physically demanding environments
Company vehicle, cell phone, and tools/equipment are provided.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $25.00 – $32.00 per hour
