Painter II

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
– Follow safety protocols and wear appropriate protective gear
– Follow established work procedures to minimize rework and scrap
– Prepare parts for painting or powder coating by sanding down units and/or masking units
– Apply paint or protective coatings to a variety of sized parts using a spray gun
– Conduct quality inspections on products and parts
– Dispose of hazardous waste in an appropriate manner
– Maintain a clean and orderly work area

QUALIFICATIONS:
– Previous experience in manufacturing working with painting or powder coating
– Experience with HVLP or conventional spray guns
– Experience using calipers and measuring thickness of parts
– Ability to handle physical workload
– Ability to work well in teams

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE: High school diploma or GED; 6 months related experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Pay: $30 – $36 an hour
Work Location: In person (manufacturing facility)
