Take Off Specialist– Commercial Painting
Bridgeview, IL | Full-Time | $22-$24 per hour + Benefits

What You’ll Be Working On:

As our Takeoff Specialist, you’ll analyze blueprints to determine the exact quantities of materials and labor needed for a project.

Key responsibilities

Quantity takeoffs:

Perform detailed measurements and calculations to quantify materials like concrete, steel, and lumber.

Blueprint analysis:

Read and interpret architectural, structural, and other technical drawings to understand all project requirements.

Software proficiency:

Use specialized software for digital takeoffs and estimations, such as PlanSwift, or other estimating programs.

Collaboration:

Work closely with estimators, project managers, and other teams to ensure accurate cost estimates and project plans.

Support the bid process by providing accurate takeoffs that help the company win contracts without under- or over-bidding.

What You Bring to the Table:

2+ years of blueprint estimating or related experience
Proficiency with takeoff software and Microsoft Office
Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
Reliable, eager to learn, and a true team player
Ability to read and interpret architectural drawings
