Traveling Lead Craftsman (Multi-Trade) — Track to Assistant Foreman

Prospect Hill Properties builds fast, clean, and to-spec in occupied spaces. We’re hiring a Lead Craftsman who excels across multiple trades and can self-perform at a high level while partnering closely with our Foreman. This is a hands-on-first role with a clear growth path into Assistant Foreman as our process and team scale.

What you’ll do

Self-perform commercial work across multiple scopes (see below) with a “finish-first” mindset.
Work side-by-side with the Foreman to execute scopes cleanly and efficiently in occupied environments.
Read plans/elevations, verify field conditions, and help mark layout/control lines.
Stage materials at point-of-use; keep the work area safe, clean, and client-friendly.
Build first-articles before full runs; protect finishes; close punch the first time.
Track pace/quality with the Foreman and help refine our workflow as we build repeatable standards.

Scopes you’ll touch

Drywall • Commercial Paint • Tile • Electrical (lighting/trim) • Flooring (VCT/LVP/Epoxy/Glue-Down) • Millwork/Doors • Demo/General • Framing (wood/metal)

What you must bring

Strong multi-trade capability with real commercial experience (occupied spaces a plus).
3–6 photos of your own recent commercial work + two site references.
Travel readiness (1–4 weeks at a time) and clean, professional conduct on the road.
Coachable mindset: able to take direction, move fast, and help build the playbook.

Schedule & job reality (read this twice)

Our upcoming project is daytime with heavy weekend work.
The project to follow will be night-shift due to occupied environment constraints.
Hours vary by client needs; overtime may be required (paid at time-and-a-half over 40 hrs).
Employment includes a 90-day probationary period under the hire contract.

Pay & travel

$24–$30/hr based on verified skill (W-2)
OT at 1.5× over 40 hours/week (non-exempt)
Company-paid lodging + $50/day per diem when traveling
