Duties

• Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, caulking, plastering, and applying primers to ensure optimal paint adhesion
• Use hand tools and power tools such as brushes, rollers, airless sprayers, and scaffolding to apply paint, stain, and protective coatings on various surfaces
• Read blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings to accurately determine project scope and specifications
• Execute residential and commercial painting projects with precision, including wall coverings, trim, stucco application, and restoration work
• Apply industrial painting techniques when working on large-scale or specialized projects such as concrete finishing or coatings
• Maintain safety standards at all times while working on construction sites or renovation projects

Skills

• Extensive experience with construction site work including framing, remodeling, and maintenance projects
• Proficiency in reading blueprints and technical drawings for accurate project execution
• Skilled in using hand tools and power tools safely and effectively
• Familiarity with airless spray painting and industrial coating applications
• Ability to perform surface preparation tasks like plastering, caulking, masonry work, and stucco application
• Basic math skills for measuring areas, calculating paint quantities, and estimating costs

Compensation

Pay: $25.00 per hour | Job Type: Temporary
