Concrete Polishing & Epoxy Team Lead

Connor Painting is seeking an experienced Concrete Polishing & Epoxy Team Lead to help lead our growing flooring division. This role is ideal for someone with strong hands-on experience in commercial and industrial concrete polishing systems, resinous flooring, surface preparation, and crew leadership.

Responsibilities:
– Lead and coordinate commercial and industrial flooring crews on concrete polishing, surface preparation, epoxy coatings, and safety line striping projects
– Operate and oversee use of concrete polishing equipment including grinders, vacuums, and burnishers
– Perform concrete grinding, densifying, honing, polishing, and coating preparation
– Apply epoxy, urethane, and other resinous flooring systems per manufacturer specifications
– Read project specifications and drawings to ensure accurate, efficient completion
– Plan daily work activities, manage crew productivity, and ensure projects stay on schedule
– Train and mentor flooring employees on proper techniques, equipment operation, and safety
– Identify and troubleshoot flooring issues in the field
– Ensure compliance with OSHA standards and company safety policies
– Complete daily reports, equipment inspections, and project documentation

Requirements:
– Strong experience in commercial or industrial concrete polishing REQUIRED
– Experience with epoxy, urethane, polyaspartic, or other resinous flooring systems
– Previous experience leading or supervising flooring crews strongly preferred
– Strong attention to detail and commitment to high quality workmanship
– Valid driver’s license and insurable driving record
