Watching someone pour a metallic floor online is one thing. Doing it yourself, with an instructor next to you showing you how to fix it when it goes wrong, is another. That is what in-person epoxy training events are for.
Pennsylvania has three good options coming up this fall: a 3-day intro to epoxy class at the Epoxy Depot Academy in Lebanon, a 3-day epoxy flooring course just south of Pittsburgh and two free days of decorative concrete training near Pittsburgh. Here is what is coming up:
Upcoming Epoxy Training in Pennsylvania
Epoxy Depot Academy Lebanon: Intro to Epoxy Training
- Dates: November 5-7, 2026 (9:00 AM to 5:00 PM)
- Location: Epoxy Depot Academy, 2700 West Cumberland, Building 4, Lebanon
- Investment: $995, all materials included
Why It’s Worth Your Time: This 3-day hands-on class covers the full process with E4E epoxy products. You learn mixing ratios and how products work together, diamond grinding and surface prep, crack filling and leveling, one-day flake floors, metallic and marbling effects, and urethane and polyaspartic topcoats. No experience is needed, so it works for new installers and for contractors adding coatings to their services. It is coming up fast, so call Epoxy Depot at (855) 723-7699 to save a seat.
DecoCrete Decorative Concrete Training and Demo Days
- Dates: November 11-12, 2026
- Location: Silhol Builders Supply, 100 Union Street, Bridgeville (Pittsburgh area)
- Investment: Free. RSVP on the DecoCrete website.
Why It’s Worth Your Time: This is two free days of live demos and hands-on training for contractors, crew members and business owners at any skill level. The focus is decorative concrete, not epoxy: stamped overlays, GFRC countertops, vertical carving, stains and color, concrete firepits and decorative basics.
You also get free meals both days, a DecoCrete shirt when you RSVP, 10% off DecoCrete products at the event, plus giveaways and raffles. It is an easy, no-cost way to see if decorative work is worth adding to your services.
Epoxy Training Center Pittsburgh: 3-Day Epoxy Flooring Training
- Dates: November 13-15, 2026 (9:00 AM to 5:00 PM)
- Location: 944 PA-519, Suite 1, Eighty Four (south of Pittsburgh)
- Investment: $1,270, light breakfast and lunch included
Why It’s Worth Your Time: This 3-day hands-on course packs in a lot: concrete prep, grinding and repairs, solid color, flake and quartz, metallic and topcoats, plus cove base. It also covers coverage rates, job bidding and marketing your business. You do the work yourself in a training space, with no job site labor, and after the class you can reach a product specialist for help with products, pricing and troubleshooting. Pair it with the free DecoCrete days that same week and you can get a lot of Pittsburgh-area training done in one trip.
A Few Things to Keep in Mind
Hands-on training gives you something online content can’t: real reps on real floors, with someone next to you when things go sideways. You learn to fix problems before they cost you a job, and you get to ask the questions that only come up when you are halfway through a metallic pour.
A few practical notes before you book:
- Pick the format that fits where you are. Epoxy Depot and Epoxy Training Center both run 3-day hands-on epoxy floor classes. DecoCrete is two free days focused on decorative concrete.
- The Lebanon class is east of Harrisburg, while the other two are near Pittsburgh, so plan your travel.
- Seats are limited at the paid classes. If you have a date in mind, register early.
- Beginners are welcome at all three. You don’t need prior experience.
- We update this page as new Pennsylvania courses are announced, including the Philadelphia area, so check back.
